What
makes this book so desirable is that it is a condensation using Bunyan's
original words, thereby ably telling this classic story in the true
spirit of this 16th century man of God. It is concise, easily understood,
full of meaning.
It was penned while John Bunyan was in the Bedford prison. It has
become the second most widely read book of all time after the Bible.
Initially he wrote it mainly for himself; but under the guidance of
the Holy Spirit it "began to multiply, like sparks that from the coals
of fire do fly."
The title says "for Everyone" and though that is true, We list it
under the CHILDREN'S book, greatly desiring that the truths of this
unforgettable book will find lodging in the minds and hearts of our
youngsters. |
